Greasemonkey - Video - Skip Time/Change Playback Speed

Usage and description

Install the Greasemonkey script below to add a way to skip specific amounts of time in a video OR change the playback speed, in conjunction with bookmarklets.

After installing the script, drag any of these bookmarklets to your bookmarks bar (or make your own):

• 2x - 2x playback speed
• 4x - 4x playback speed
• 8x - 8x playback speed
• 16x - 16x playback speed (max)
• 1x - 1x playback speed
• 1 - skip forward 1 second
• 10 - skip forward 10 seconds
• 60
• 5m
• .03 - skip forward 1 frame (@30fps)
• .016 - skip forward 1 frame (@60fps)
• .03 - skip forward 1 frame (@30fps)
• 5% - skip forward 5% of the video's total duration
• 10%
• 24%
• -1 - skip backward 1 second
• -10 - skip backward 10 seconds
• -60
• -5m
• -.03 - skip backward 1 frame (@30fps)

Chrome

• NOTE: You must enable Developer Mode to make this extension work now.

Opera

• Install Violent Monkey (https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/details/966c30b450467e201973e7ee3ed48a8bc5253ae6/)

Safari

• Install Tampermonkey (https://tampermonkey.net/index.php?ext=dhdg&browser=safari)
• Once installed, you must restart Safari.

Safari (iOS)

• Install Userscripts (https://apps.apple.com/us/app/userscripts/id1463298887)
• Click the link below
• Click the puzzle piece icon (extensions) in the upper left next to the URL
• Click "Userscripts"
• Click "Tap to install"
• Scroll down if needed and install
